Karm sell 10 bedroom HMO (House of Multiple Occupancy) to local Housing Association 08/08/2017

Having owned and successfully managed a 10 bedroom HMO in Weymouth for the last 9 years, Karm has just completed the sale to East Boro Housing Trust.

Karm were approached by a local estate agent who had been dealing with East Boro Housing Trust for a number of years. They were aware East Boro were keen to find a larger property than their current accommodation in Weymouth.

Jon Winson from Karm commented – ‘We were pleased to be able to help Kevin Hodder and his team at East Boro Housing Trust secure new accommodation, providing much needed rooms for vulnerable adults with learning difficulties. We have run the property successfully for the past 9 years with very few void periods, but felt it was time for a change in direction. Being such a large house set in approximately 1/3 of an acre, it is ideal for its new purpose and being a short walk from the seafront will, I am sure, appeal to the new residents.’

Karm own and manage an extensive property portfolio both in the residential and commercial sectors.

East Boro specialises in providing housing, care and support services to vulnerable adults throughout Dorset, Bournemouth and Poole. East Boro Housing Trust is a Charitable Registered Society under the Co-operative & Community Benefits Societies Act 2014. No 16946R.
